The Ministry of Education reported that on September 9, classes proceeded normally in 98.2% of the 5,700 public schools, despite teachers' protests against education reforms. Only five schools in Dolj County had their activities partially affected. Teachers protested in Victory Square, demanding the resignation of the Minister of Education and threatening a general strike. Minister David reaffirmed that the implemented measures will not be canceled.
