Salon des Refusés returns to Apollo111 Cinema, continuing to present award-winning films from major international festivals that have not had local distribution. The debut of the new season will take place on March 1, with the screening of the film 'I Was at Home, But…', directed by Angela Schanelec, who won the Silver Bear for direction at Berlinale 2019.

The program, curated by Flavia Dima, Andrei Tănăsescu, and Oana Furdea, will include monthly screenings, accompanied by critical introductions to facilitate dialogue with the audience. The film follows the story of Astrid, a mother dealing with grief and alienation, as her teenage son returns home after a mysterious disappearance. Apollo111 Cinema, located near Cișmigiu Park, offers a variety of films, including premieres and documentaries, with weekly screenings from Thursday to Sunday.
