Michael O'Leary, the CEO of Ryanair, stated that the supply of fuel for airplanes in Europe could be severely affected if the conflict in the Middle East does not end quickly. According to him, 25% of the company's supply in May and June could be at risk, which could lead to the cancellation of some flights during the summer season. Ryanair relies on fuel imports from the Persian Gulf, and O'Leary emphasized that if the war ends and the Strait of Hormuz reopens by the end of April, the risks will be minimal. Currently, the company has not canceled flights, but it expects significant increases in ticket prices. At the same time, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the U.S. is close to "getting the job done" in Iran, promising to intensify attacks against it. Trump emphasized that American intervention is essential to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear weapon, but he did not provide a clear timeline for ending the conflict.
