In Snagov, the first smart speed limiter in Romania caused the first accident, one day after its installation.

The video footage shows a Logan car lose control at the speed limit, go into the oncoming lane, try to swerve but skid and hit the signal pole. The driver suffered only minor injuries. Snagov City Hall issued a statement saying that the speed limiter was not activated at the time of the accident.
