A 22-year-old Romanian woman wanted for aggravated robbery and murder in Germany was arrested at the border in Italy.

The young woman, wanted by the German authorities for involvement in a robbery in which an 88-year-old man died, was caught at the Fernetti border crossing point. She was traveling in a car with French plates and was arrested following rigorous checks. She was charged with participating in an attack in which the victim was drugged and then robbed of cash and jewelry. After her arrest, she was transferred to Trieste prison where she awaits extradition to Germany.
