A transport company from Romania has come under the scrutiny of Czech authorities after three trucks were stopped and checked, resulting in total fines of 49,109 euros and the immobilization of the vehicles. The Road Transport Inspectorate (INSID) discovered that two of the trucks significantly exceeded the legal size limits, one being 11.5 meters longer than the allowed limit of 16.5 meters. Additionally, the company did not have the necessary permits for oversized transport. One of the trucks was also overweight, exceeding the legal limit by 951 kilograms. The trucks were transporting stainless steel tanks from Bulgaria to France. Inspectors intervened immediately after the vehicles entered the Czech Republic, imposing fines of 200,000 crowns for each truck, and a third truck was subsequently stopped and also penalized for violations. Authorities emphasize the importance of complying with regulations for road safety.
