The Romanian College of Dentists has managed to maintain the budget for dental services, eliminating the 50% decrease initially proposed.

Following negotiations with CNAS, CMSR argued the major impact of the budget cuts on the oral health of Romanians, especially children, pensioners and those on low incomes. The College also committed to carry out a study to assess the oral and dental health status of Romanians in order to develop complementary public policies.
