Romanian chicken meat and eggs are safe, in compliance with current legislation, EFSA's analysis shows.

Representatives of UCPR presented the results of EFSA's analysis, which confirmed that eggs and poultry meat produced in Romania are safe for consumption. The EFSA report analyzed over 3,200 samples of poultry meat and eggs for hormones and other residues, without detecting any non-compliant samples. Romanian producers strictly comply with the legislation in force and are constantly monitored by ANSVSA.
