The process of assembling military drones at the Carfil Brașov plant will start this summer, according to Economy Minister Bogdan Ivan. The protocol for technology transfer has been signed with an American company, and the aim is to produce about 3,500 drones annually. Prototypes have already been tested and production will include three of the seven selected prototypes. Romania is working with the Ministry of Defense to take advantage of funding from the European Commission's SAFE Facility, including for naval development.
