In Romania, the training of pilots and drone operators takes place at the Air Force Academy and at the Boboc Air Training Base, but their number is considered insufficiently specialized. The retention rate of trained personnel is 98%. In the context of external threats, Romania collaborates with Ukraine for the development of drones, but the Ministry of National Defense does not consider it necessary to expand the training centers. Specialists emphasize that more operators are needed, considering the dynamics of personnel and the requirements for operating drones.
