The European Union's new defense funding mechanism will allow Romania to develop military production capabilities, including drones and explosive powder for weapons. Estimates suggest that Romania will allocate 30% of the defense budget to procurement and modernization, exceeding the recommended minimum threshold. The production of 155 mm caliber ammunition is also being discussed. The Minister of Economy confirmed these initiatives, emphasizing the collaboration with MApN to meet the needs of the Romanian Army.
