Radu Miruță announced that the Ministry of National Defense has sent the technical requirements for the drones that will be produced in collaboration with Ukraine. The project has a completion deadline in 2030.

The Minister of Defense, Radu Miruță, stated that the Ministry of National Defense (MApN) has sent the technical requirements for the drones that are to be produced in collaboration with Ukraine to the Prime Minister's Chancellery.

During a meeting with 15 Ukrainian drone manufacturing companies, a detailed technical file was created for each company, including the types of drones, production volumes, and their capabilities.

Miruță mentioned that Romania also wants production to start as soon as possible, with a deadline for project completion set for 2030.

The project will involve a customized system for the Romanian Army, integrating critical data from various sources, such as radars and fighter jets.

The Minister emphasized the importance of the partnership with Ukrainian companies taking place on Romanian territory, in the courtyard of the Ministry of Defense.
