The Romanian market is recognized as a model for Greek business, with a steady increase in bilateral trade, which reached €2.936 billion in 2024. Romania ranked 7th as a destination for Greek exports and 2nd for Greek investments, totaling €3.991 billion in 2023. Greek companies active in Romania number around 2,000, generating a total turnover of €5.8 billion and providing over 20,000 jobs.
