Following a bilateral meeting, Romania and Spain decided to draw up a memorandum to facilitate the transmission of documents between pension institutions. The aim is to shorten waiting times for calculating the pensions of Romanians who have worked in Spain. Discussions will include linking the IT systems of the two countries' pension funds, ensuring that common rules are applied to prevent fraud and correctly determine the amount of pensions.
