On the night from Friday to Saturday, a 21-year-old driver working for a ride-sharing platform was stabbed by a 17-year-old client following a dispute over the price of a ride. The incident took place in the George Enescu neighborhood of Suceava, where the young man offered only 7 lei for a 9 lei ride. The conflict escalated, and the client used a sharp object to assault the driver, causing injuries to his arm and leg. The victim was transported to the hospital, and the aggressor was detained by the police for questioning. This is the second similar incident that night, after a taxi driver was fatally stabbed by another client in Mioveni.
