Home sales in Bucharest and Ilfov decreased by 3.4% in the first nine months of 2025, but the residential market continues to show signs of stability.

The SVN Romania analysis shows that in Bucharest and Ilfov, approximately 41,500 residential units were sold, a decrease of 3.4% compared to last year, but an improvement compared to the 7.9% decrease in the first semester. Bucharest recorded a decrease of 4.4%, while Ilfov had an increase of 2.2%. The number of newly completed homes decreased by 3%, but the residential market demonstrated resilience, with increases in Constanta and Cluj, despite economic challenges.
