In an interview, sociologist Remus Ștefureac, director of INSCOP, emphasizes that the Romanian people have shown patience towards the austerity measures, but this attitude may change if the government does not honor its promises to cut privileges and reduce waste. He warns that if these measures are not implemented, the risks of seeing an extremist majority in 2028 increase significantly.

Additionally, Remus Ștefureac observes a rise in esoteric beliefs among the youth and the middle class, reflecting a cultural shift. Regarding the canceled presidential elections, he mentions that Călin Georgescu's advance significantly decreased before the vote, leaving unresolved questions about the final outcome. In conclusion, he underscores the importance of government reforms and effective communication to avoid the radicalization of the population.
