The Ministry of Environment announced a record interest for the auction of 58 beach subsectors in Năvodari, with 303 offers received. This increase in interest is due to the introduction of clearer and more demanding criteria in the specifications, which evaluate not only the financial offer but also the quality of services and the management of the beaches. The Minister of Environment, Diana Buzoianu, emphasized that these new rules are intended to improve services on the coast and eliminate existing monopolies.

The specifications include requirements related to environmental protection, accessibility for people with disabilities, and sustainable infrastructure solutions. It also encourages innovation, such as the use of renewable energy and the proposal of diverse recreational activities. The evaluation of the offers will take place between March 10 and 12, conducted by five national committees.
