Radu Oprea, the Secretary General of the Government, discussed with entrepreneurs from the hospitality industry and noted a decrease in the number of tourists on the coast compared to last season. Oprea highlighted the necessity for Romania to remain competitive against neighboring countries that apply reduced VAT rates in this sector.
