The motion, titled "Progressive Minister Radu Miruță compromises the credibility of Romania's defense policy through irresponsible statements and lack of strategic analysis," does not focus on the real issues of the Romanian Army, but rather on a technical statement about Greenland, taken out of context.

Miruță emphasized that using the motion as a democratic tool is important, but turning a lie into a motion is an insult to the Senate and the voters. He also stated that AUR has no chance of influencing the redirection of funds from SAFE, ensuring that the funds will be used for the transparent equipping of the Romanian Army.
