'Liska Park', a private zoo in Bihor county, was recently opened by Mihai Torjoc, local PNL councillor, without having the legal authorizations. Visitors have reported poor safety conditions, being separated from the Bengal tigers only by a window. The garden is home to more than 50 wild animals, including protected species, but has not obtained the necessary environmental and veterinary authorizations. Torjoc refused to explain the legality of opening the park.
