On Monday, President Nicușor Dan will have a meeting with General Alexus G. Grynkewich, the Supreme Commander of Allied Forces in Europe and the U.S. European Command, at the Cotroceni Palace, at 10:30 AM. On Tuesday, General Grynkewich will make a working visit to the ‘Getica’ National Training Center in Cincu and to the Southeast Multinational Corps Command in Sibiu, together with General Gheorghiță Vlad, Chief of the Defense Staff. The visit underscores Romania's and NATO's commitment to strengthening regional security and enhancing the defense posture on the southeastern flank of the Alliance. General Grynkewich, who took office on July 4, 2025, has extensive military experience, being a pilot with over 2,300 flight hours and having held various command positions within the air forces.
