Breazu Constantin Laurențiu, a police officer from Călimănești, was caught using his position and uniform to obtain illegal financial gains through quick 'resolutions' of damage cases. According to the investigation, he illegally intervened in official documents, promising quick compensation from insurance companies in exchange for money. In November 2024, he requested 1,000 lei from a person under investigation, suggesting that he had influence over an insurance company.

He also forged two minutes to mislead an insurance company. After being confronted with evidence, the police officer admitted to the facts and accepted a plea agreement, receiving a sentence of 2 years and 6 months of suspended prison, a 3-year probation period, and a ban on holding public office. Although the damage was compensated, the insurance companies did not withdraw their complaints, and the case was sent to the Vâlcea Court for validation.
