At the meeting with Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, representatives of trade unions and employers' organizations discussed the proposed fiscal-budgetary measures, but expressed dissatisfaction with their impact on employees and pensioners. Trade unionists warned that protests would continue because of the inequities, while employers criticized the lack of consultation in drafting the package. The government has promised an open dialogue and asked for representatives to be appointed to draft the next measures, but discontent persists and the tax package is to be considered by the executive.
