The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) has issued an orange code warning for blizzards in the mountainous areas of Caraș-Severin and Hunedoara counties, valid between 09:50 and 13:00. The wind will reach speeds of 85-120 km/h, blowing snow and reducing visibility to below 50 meters. Additionally, the yellow code for snow, blizzards, and ice remains in effect for the southern half of the country until 20:00. Wind intensifications are expected in Dobrogea, Muntenia, Oltenia, and southern Banat, with speeds of 50-70 km/h. In Oltenia, the blizzard will continue, and in the western part of the Southern Carpathians, a layer of snow of 10-25 cm will accumulate, with risks of ice and frost.
