The Sector 3 City Hall has announced a new procedure for managing illegal parking, under the leadership of Mayor Robert Negoiță. According to the new rules, vehicles will no longer be towed if the driver has displayed a phone number, responds to calls from local police, and immediately clears the blocked area. Although the car will not be towed, drivers will be fined, which will be less than the total costs associated with towing the vehicle.

This decision aims to quickly unblock affected areas, avoiding slower towing procedures. However, the Local Police will intervene firmly in cases that affect pedestrian safety or access, and towing the vehicle will remain an option if the drivers cannot be contacted or refuse to clear the area.
