The new medical unit, part of the 'Prof. Dr. Dimitrie Gerota' Emergency Hospital, will offer 490 beds, of which 400 for continuous hospitalization. The project will be carried out with funding from the PNRR and will help improve access to emergency medical services in Bucharest. Minister Cătălin Predoiu emphasized the importance of the project for the development of the Romanian healthcare system.
