Two days before the vote on the censure motion submitted by PSD and AUR, the Minister of Finance, Alexandru Nazare, stated that Romania needs stability and continuity to avoid blocking development projects and losing investor confidence. Nazare emphasized that political instability can lead to delays in reforms and increased costs for the population, affecting the budgets of families and companies.
He called on parliamentarians to prioritize the right decisions for the country, instead of those that are politically convenient in the short term. The Minister highlighted the achievements of the government led by Ilie Bolojan, such as economic stability, reduction of the public deficit, and acceleration of public investments, emphasizing that Romania cannot afford to take steps back in this context.
