At the NATO Summit in Ankara, scheduled for July 7 and 8, the Multilateral Defense, Security and Resilience Bank (DSRB) will be officially launched. The announcement was made by Mircea Geoană, a member of the DSRB board, who emphasized the importance of this project initiated during his time at the helm of NATO. DSRB will function as an additional financing tool dedicated to the defense industry, aiming to support small and medium-sized enterprises, especially in countries with budget constraints.

Geoană recommended an editorial from the Financial Times signed by the Prime Ministers of Canada and Luxembourg, which advocates for the need for a multilateral solution to mobilize capital. Romania is proud to be a founding member of the DSRB, and Geoană thanked the authorities for supporting this important project. The official launch ceremony is eagerly awaited.
