The manager of the Piatra-Neamț County Emergency Hospital, Alexandru Pătrașcu, announced that starting from February 15, an IT monitoring system for the intervention times of doctors requested at the Emergency Reception Unit (UPU) will be implemented.
The decision comes following reports regarding long waiting times for specialist consultations. Checks revealed dysfunctions in the response of doctors, and the new system will record each request, the moment the doctor presents, and the consultation performed. This measure aims to ensure transparency and identify unjustified delays, thus allowing for the rapid adoption of necessary measures to improve medical care. Alexandru Pătrașcu emphasized that respecting intervention times is a professional and moral obligation towards patients.
