The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) announced that four Moldovan citizens are stranded in Refuge Călăbun in the Făgăraș Mountains, but they are in good health. Romanian authorities have intervened promptly, and a rescue team is on its way to their location, with the intervention expected to take place in approximately one hour.
The MFA mentions that the weather conditions are favorable for carrying out the rescue operation and that the ministry remains in constant contact with the Romanian authorities to provide updated information. The Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Bucharest has been involved in managing the situation.
