A group of eleven tourists, including seven children, got lost in the Rodnei Mountains, but were rescued by mountain rescuers after a difficult operation.

Rescuers from Maramureș intervened to recover a group of eleven tourists, seven of whom were children, who got lost in the Buhăescu area. The rescue operation, complicated by the dark and cold, was successfully completed at around 3.30am and the children were handed over to their parents. One adult suffered a leg injury and was taken to hospital. Rescuers acted in an organized manner, using appropriate equipment for the difficult conditions.
