On Tuesday, the Control Body of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MAI) is conducting a verification of the managerial activity at the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU). Sources within the MAI have stated that this control is thematic and is not associated with any specific person or intervention.

The verification is part of a periodic control process that applies to all structures within the ministry. IGSU has been led by General Dan-Paul Iamandi since February 2018, and this control aims to assess the managerial efficiency of the institution.
