The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MAI) has initiated an information campaign through video clips to educate citizens about possible crimes related to voting expression, in the context of the partial local elections on December 7. The main messages include the prohibition of photographing or filming the ballot and the warning not to accept money or goods in exchange for votes. The spokesperson of MAI, Monica Dajbog, emphasized the importance of knowing the legal prohibitions to prevent electoral offenses.
Additionally, citizens are advised not to share unverified information, considering the risks of misinformation that have affected previous elections. Manipulation campaigns through false information can affect the integrity of the electoral process, and MAI encourages citizens to inform themselves from official sources.
