Interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan today appointed Ionel Stoica, a former journalist, as the Secretary General of the National Agency for Public Procurement (ANAP) for a period of 6 months. This appointment was published in the Official Monitor, and Stoica holds a vacant public position, classified as a senior public official. Prior to this appointment, Ionel Stoica was the head of service within the General Economic Directorate of ANAP.
Political sources claim that Stoica was brought into the Government by the spokesperson of the Executive, Ioana Ene Dogioiu, who is close to Bolojan. Stoica is a graduate in History and has worked as a journalist in the field of Justice. He has also been a press officer at the Sector 1 City Hall and a USR activist. Within USR, there have been grievances regarding the appointment of Raluca Rogoz at ANAP, accusing authoritarian decisions and appointments from outside the party.
