The Supervisory Board of Hidroelectrica has appointed interim officials in the positions of CEO and CFO, following the departure of Karoly Borbely and Marian Fetiba due to pressures from the European Commission.

Hidroelectrica has announced the appointment of Bogdan-Nicolae Badea as interim CEO and Radu-Ioan Constantin as interim CFO, after the general director and the financial director left the company due to pressures from the European Commission regarding possible conflicts of interest. This change occurs in a delicate context, with risks of financial penalties for Romania. Karoly Borbely, recognized for the successful listing of Hidroelectrica, emphasized that his withdrawal is intended to protect the company.
