The police in Buzău recovered 50 pieces of stolen heritage from a church in Norway, thanks to a citizen from Mărăcineni who purchased them from a fair. He noticed clues regarding the origin of the objects and reported it to the authorities. The actions of the Buzău police, carried out in November to prevent crimes against cultural heritage, led to collaboration with Norwegian authorities. The objects were returned through the Norwegian Embassy, and the Norwegian church referred to this recovery as the 'Buzău miracle.' The citizen stated that his gesture was one of normality, emphasizing that he wanted to help recover the stolen goods.
