Taking advantage of a security breach during a transfer at the Dej Penitentiary Hospital, the inmate noticed the username and password of a prison officer with administrative rights. After returning to the penitentiary, he used the access data to modify information in the system, including reducing his own sentence and that of his colleagues. He also made online purchases without paying and accessed emails, causing confusion among the prison staff. The irregularities were discovered by an employee, and the inmate admitted to the facts. Now, he risks a new conviction, as a criminal complaint has already been filed.
