Electrocentrale Bucharest has announced that CET Progresu has been forcibly shut down due to a breakdown in the district heating network operated by Termoenergetica Bucharest. The breakdown also caused problems in the installations of the CET Progresu, causing the forced shutdown of the plant. Some 3071 blocks of flats in Bucharest have no hot water and another 1462 buildings are receiving insufficient hot water.
