The explosive detonation of drone fragments found in Tulcea County was controlled detonated by SRI pyrotechnicians and MApN specialists.

Fragments of a drone with explosive payload were found between the localities of Luncavița and Văcăreni, in Tulcea County. The controlled detonation operation took place in a field, around 6:30 PM, with the participation of SRI pyrotechnicians and specialists from the Ministry of National Defense (MApN).

MApN confirmed the presence of the explosive payload and assessed the risks on site. The Coast Guard was alerted after an unmanned aerial vehicle was identified in the area, and the competent authorities were informed. Investigations are being conducted in collaboration with other authorities, under the coordination of the case prosecutor from the Prosecutor's Office next to the Constanța Court of Appeal. The perimeter has been secured, and specialist teams continue to investigate the situation.
