Flaviu-Emanuel Sima, former interim manager of the Rădăuți Municipal Hospital, has concluded a plea agreement and was sentenced to three years of suspended prison for multiple corruption offenses. DNA prosecutors accused him of receiving 12,000 euros to provide the subjects of a hiring competition and demanded goods and services worth over 5,500 lei to favor a person in obtaining a position.
Additionally, Sima intervened with doctors to facilitate the diagnosis and hospitalization of patients, receiving sums of money and goods from them. Along with Sima, Vlad-Vasile Luța, a nurse, and his wife were also sentenced for complicity and false declarations. All three admitted to the facts and agreed to perform community service.
