The Alba Tribunal Prosecutor's Office announced that five individuals have been placed under judicial control for 60 days, being accused of frauding the 2026 Baccalaureate exam.
The criminal action was initiated on July 4, 2026, and the defendants are suspected of having created a complex network between 2023 and 2026 to facilitate the fraud of the baccalaureate exams for dozens of candidates, in exchange for sums of money.
Prosecutors claim that some candidates filmed the exam subjects before the tests began and sent them through communication means, and later, the answers were dictated by external individuals using electronic devices. The amounts obtained from the candidates were shared among all those involved, depending on each person's role in this fraud network.
