Firefighters are intervening to extinguish a fire at the Lovrin Gymnasium, where 80 people have self-evacuated.

On Saturday, October 21, 2025, firefighters were alerted to a fire that broke out at the Gymnasium School in the commune of Lovrin, Timiș County. Two fire trucks, as well as the Volunteer Emergency Services from Lovrin and Biled, were dispatched to the scene, and in support, a fire truck and a mechanical ladder from Timișoara arrived. The fire is affecting the roof of the building housing the primary school, posing a risk of spreading to a neighboring residence. Approximately 80 people self-evacuated safely, and the fire has been contained, affecting an area of about 400 square meters. Firefighters continue to intervene to extinguish the fire.
