On October 17, 2025, an explosion caused by a gas accumulation occurred in a building in the Rahova neighborhood of Bucharest, resulting in the death of three people. During the hearing, the administrator stated that the seal applied by the gas supplier Distrigaz Sud Rețele was broken by a company recommended by Distrigaz for checking the gas installation. The statement was also confirmed by a witness who accompanied the administrator during the hearings.
