The EU ambassador stressed her readiness to strengthen relations with the US in areas such as energy, defense and trade. The statements come as Donald Trump has accused the EU of treating the US 'unfairly'. In response, Neliupsiene noted that the EU maintains close trade relations with the US, being the largest consumer of American liquefied natural gas.
