The President of the Prahova County Council, Virgiliu-Daniel Nanu, organized a working meeting at the Paltinu Dam, attended by representatives of the institutions involved in managing the water crisis, including Apele Române, Hidro Prahova, and the Public Health Directorate. During the meeting, it was clarified that the halt in water distribution was caused by the decision of Apele Române to stop supplying raw water due to extreme turbidity. Nanu requested explanations regarding the management of the intervention at the dam and the necessary steps to resume water supply.
A technical pathway was established for resuming water distribution, estimating that if all stages proceed according to plan, water supply could be resumed on Monday morning, December 8. Nanu emphasized the importance of cooperation between institutions and the transparency of communication to overcome the crisis.
