On Thursday, the 'Grigore Cerchez' Technological College in Bucharest was evacuated urgently after a gas smell was reported in the area. ISU Bucharest-Ilfov confirmed that checks and measurements are being carried out both inside and outside the building.


Distrigaz was present at the scene to assess the situation. The gas supply was stopped, and students and school staff were evacuated without reporting any medical issues. Firefighters sent a fire truck, a CBRN vehicle, and a SABIF ambulance to ensure a rapid response.
