SC Elite Conta SRL has been sanctioned by the National Authority for Personal Data Protection (ANSPDCP) after a cyber attack led to the compromise of many individuals' personal data, including names, social security numbers and salary information. The investigation revealed that the company did not have adequate security measures in place to protect the data, which led to unauthorized access by a third party. Following the findings, the ANSPDCP imposed corrective measures and a fine, which was paid by the operator.
