Education union leaders met with Minister Daniel David to discuss possible changes to the teaching norm and the abolition of the doctor's allowance. They called for a detailed analysis of the proposed framework plans for secondary schools, and wanted to involve parents, teachers and students in the process. Protests by the teachers, unhappy with the failure to fulfill political promises, are scheduled for June 18.
