Irineu Darău, the Minister of Economy, announced that his institution coordinates 47 companies, some of which have long-term appointed managers, while others are led by interim managers. He highlighted that, by the end of March, he managed to initiate selections for all state companies. Darău emphasized an important conclusion: there has been significant negligence in the management of these companies.
As an example, he mentioned the shipyard in Mangalia, which was left to reach insolvency due to a lack of action. Additionally, the minister noted that, in the defense industry, companies had orders but did not develop new products, leaving assets in a precarious state. This situation requires urgent intervention to revitalize state companies and adapt them to the current market demands.
